Kettlebell History

The Kettlebell is a cast iron or steel weight that resembles a cannon ball with a handle. Although they have been used for centuries in Eastern Europe, they are fairly new to North America. Introduced in early 2001 by Pavel Tsatsouline & Dragon Door Publications, Inc. Kettlebell training is becoming the hottest new fitness trend in America.

One of the keys to Kettlebell training is the ability to gain fitness at any level, in the most efficient manner, through muscle integration, not isolation.
